The depot manager of a local self storage branch is performing a tribute act to Frank Sinatra, Matt Munro and Nat King Cole on The Moor to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Dainton Self Storage have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as their charity of the year and each of the company's 13 sites across the UK are embracing the challenge of fundraising.
Vince Hall, depot manager at Dainton Self Storage in Scorrier near Redruth, has been performing a tribute act to Frank Sinatra for a number of years and is keen to use his talent to help raise money to put towards the cost of the £3.5 million plans for The Cove Support Centre at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Vince said: "This is 'My Way' of helping to raise money for such an important service. Virtually everyone has been touched by cancer, either through a loved one, friend, neighbour or colleague. Being diagnosed with cancer can be a horrendous shock and a very lonely time. Macmillan ensure that no-one has to face cancer alone by offering medical, financial and practical information as well as comfort and support.”
Vince Hall will be performing as Frank Sinatra on behalf of Dainton Self Storage on Saturday, September 3 from 10am to 4pm at The Moor in Falmouth.
The event is free to attend, but donations for the charity will be gratefully received.
