Whilst there will be differences of opinion regarding the aim of The Kings to become another nightclub* - I wouldn't dispute the estimated customer numbers quoted in your recent article (750 shared between Mangos, Toast and The Kings).
The late night crowds filling the area bounded by The Kings, parish church and The Cornish Bank regularly keep local residents awake until around 4am with their shouting, screaming, singing and dancing.
Still, Mr Fudge seems to be well regarded by the town council - and, as the welfare of students takes precedence over that of the permanent residents, presumably that makes it OK?
