THERE’S a fish treat in store if you visit the Falmouth Aquarium this week, as vistors will be invited to feed its fish.

Take part in the best part of the day - feeding time - at 11am, 1pm and 3pm during half term.

The aquarium will also be feeding its corals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4pm.

This is a fascinating experience for young and old alike as you see how the corals open up and eat their food.

With four floors there is plenty to keep you entertained with the fascinating fish, the shark jaws and skeletons; there are things to touch and see from Cornwall and around the world.

“Had a good couple of hours in the aquarium and there was lots to see and read about all the fish.

“I liked the Cornish coast tanks - it was good to show the kids the species near us, and they saw an angry crab which was highly amusing for them. We all managed to learn something, and have fun - well worth it!” said a recent visitor.

The Falmouth Aquarium is open every weekday over half-term from 10am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday it will be open from 10.30am to 5pm.

Adults tickets are £4.49, and children admission costs £3.49. Families can also benefit from a £1 to £2 reduction off their tickets. See www.falmouthaquarium.com
