As the days get longer and brighter, the National Garden Scheme in Cornwall has a host of gardens open for |charity throughout March and the rest of the year.
Trevoole Garden near Camborne is nestled around an old farmhouse with a charming courtyard, orchard, herb garden and rose walk. The garden and the café will be open to visitors every Thursday, 10am to 4pm, this year.
Bosvigo House, Truro, will be open on Sunday, offering visitors a rare chance to explore |three-acres of garden |surrounding the impressive Georgian house.
Ince castle in Saltash is a romantic garden overlooking the river Lynher. The 17th century castle, home to an old woodland garden with fritillaries, camellias, rhododendrons and apple trees, will be open on selected Sundays between now and May 11.
Finally, Trengwainton garden, near Penzance, is exclusively open on Sunday, March 16.
With glorious spring displays, Trengwainton provides 25 acres of peaceful gardens, woodland paths and streams, as well as impressive views overs Mounts Bay.
