It’s that time of year where the music festival is the place to be and across the country people of all ages and tastes are headed en-masse to one festival or another.
This year Penryn is providing the limelight for its own two-day “Falapalooza Festival”.
The bank holiday weekend of May 25 to May 26 will see Tremough Campus host more than 30 bands, performers, DJs, composers, artists, sound installations and singer-songwriters across a sonically varied weekend that is guaranteed to have something for everyone and leave you musically satisfied.
The weekend is free to attend and is based in the Performance Centre on the Falmouth University Campus.
In association with local food and drink companies, “Falapalooza” is very much a community-based weekend. All bands and artists attend the university and will showcase a variety of talent.
Performances include Kieran Marsden, Out Of Answers, Abee Hague, Syrens, Barney Kenny, Indie House, Jamie Grimshaw, Fresh From The Creche, Dismillium Sound System and Mr Johns There will also be some heavier items on the list courtesy of Mosh Potato and Olympus Mons, tailored towards those with a more metallic taste in music.
