Carn Brea Leisure Centre wants children to stay active and have fun during May half term by participating in a range of activities being held within the centre.
The complex in Pool, Redruth will be running a host of activities, for 5-16 year olds which will take place between Tuesday May 29 and Saturday June 2. All sessions will be led by qualified coaches and trained activity leaders.
The May Half Term diary dates and Activities are as follows:
Tuesday May 29 - Soccer School Academy, 10am-3pm, £18 per child including lunch, 5-12 yearsWednesday May 30 - Trampoline Lessons, 9-12am, £4.00 per child, per 1 hour session, 5-16 yearsThursday May 31 - Funzone Multi-Sport Activities, 1-4pm, £9.50 per child, 5-12 yearsFriday June 1 - Pool Party, Flume, floats and music, 2-4pm, £3.50 per child, 5-16 yearsSaturday June 2 - Soccer School Saturday, 9-10.30am and 10.30-12am, £4.00 per child In addition, throughout the four days, Carn Brea's Fast Lane team will be leading a number of Junior Intensive Swimming Lessons to help build confidence and ability in swimmers.
Levels 1-3 will be 30 minute lessons held in the learner pool and leisure area. Levels 6-12 will be 1 hour lessons to incorporate survival skills, dives and stroke technique held in the dive pit. Levels 1-3 will be £14.00 for the four day course, and levels 6-12 will be £ 18.00 for the four day course.
The centre also offers a crèche suitable for 0-5 year olds. The crèche will be open 9-12am Monday to Saturday, and may open in the afternoons if demand is high enough.
Please note - During the pool party the learner pool will be open for the under 5's and All under 8's must be accompanied by an adult (18 years +).
