ONE of the most successful bands to have emerged in the 90s, Toploade,r makes its first visit to Hall For Cornwall this February.
Since forming in 1997, the band has enjoyed over two million album sales to its name and a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad.
From funky blues-rock to |soaring balladry, the band’s |success has seen them in |numerous festival headline slots and television appearances –|making them the indie’s shining lights.
Outstanding live performers and the last band to play the |original Wembley Stadium, Toploader has performed with many of the music industry’s biggest names including Coldplay and Muse - as well as backing Paul Weller, Robbie Williams and Bon Jovi.
Their debut album, Onka’s Big Moka, sold over one million copies and remained in the top five of the UK Albums Chart for over six months. However, the band is recognised most of all for Dancing in the Moonlight which became a massive global hit.
Toploader is at Hall For Cornwall on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are £13 to £19 - there is a £1.50 handling charge.
