CHILDREN will be in fine voice with a new series of workshops taking place from April 9 to 11.
The three one-day Easter workshops will introduce children to the fun and excitement of performance through Malcolm Williamson’s children’s opera, The Snow Wolf.
Run by professional classical soprano Cheryl Brendish, the Snow Wolf offers an opportunity to learn the art of performance, how to sing, act, interact and develop characters and storylines as well as making props and masks.
At the end of each workshop there will be a ten minute performance for parents, family and friends to attend.
Assisting will be Melanie Hoadley, Vocal Teacher at Truro High School and Kate Wood, Director of Marazion Apollo MVC.
The workshops take place on April 9 at the Performance Centre in Penryn Campus and on April 10 and 11 at Truro High School Drama Studio, Daniell Road. They run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and are aimed at children aged eight to 13 years.
The cost is £30 per child. To book contact Cheryl Brendish on 01209 820688 / 07789 692246 or email Cheryl@brendish.com
