Seminal reggae band, Misty in Roots will be playing a special live gig at the Princess Pavilion on Saturday, July 5 and tickets are now on sale.
Beginning life as a Southall-based British roots reggae band in the early 1970s, their first album, Live at the Counter Eurovision was championed by John Peel and was an album which helped to bring roots music to a white audience.
One of the most powerful live reggae acts to have come out of London, who are noted for their powerful roots reggae sound and uncompromising lyrical vibrations, Misty in Roots became the major force in Rock Again Against Racism and played more concerts than any other band in the movement.
Starts 8pm. Standing. Advance Tickets £15 - available from the Pavilion box office on 01326 211222 or book online via SeeTickets
