TICKETS went on sale at 10am on Friday for the first ever Manic Street Preachers concert in Cornwall.
As part of a major UK tour in May and June the Manics will play Hall for Cornwall on Sunday, June 3. The tour is in support of the band's eighth studio album, Send Away The Tigers, due for release in May on Columbia.
These will be the first Manic Street Preachers touring shows in two years and bass player Nicky Wire promises, "Springsteen-esque long sets, working class rage, make-up and dumb punk fun".
The Welsh rockers are now in their 21st year. In that time they released a glut of classic albums including The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go and a series of unforgettable singles including From Despair To Where, A Design For Life and If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next.
Tickets, which are expected to sell immediately, go on sale at 10am on Friday, February 9, and are priced £25. Contact the HfC box office on 01872 262466 where there will be an additional 75p Theatre Fund payment on all tickets sold.
