LOUIS Eliot, the former main man of 90s Britpop Romantics, Rialto, will be performing at the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth on Friday, February 6 as part of Ruarri Joseph's album launch.

Rialto enjoyed three UK top 40 hits and a top 20 album, and toured extensively throughout Europe as well as in the US, Russia and South East Asia where they achieved double platinum album sales. They regularly appeared on TV, including Top of the Pops, TFI Friday and MTV.

With choruses aplenty that soar high above the Cornish landscape, their very own rural sound with its mix of country, folk and an unshakeable pop sensibility never fails to rouse. With a new album and bookings in the UK and Europe, Louis and the band are looking forward to a busy 2009.

Tickets are £8 and available from the Princess Pavilion Box Office (01326 211222). Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.
