The Amadou Diagne Band makes a return to Cornwall on Friday with a concert at The Performance Centre, Falmouth University.
Amadou Diagne is a West African multi instrumentalist/singer and songwriter from Dakar, Senegal. His song writing is based firmly in Senegalese griot tradition, yet with a modern outlook.
Amadou’s unique guitar style shifts from traditional African blues to an awe-inspiring display of percussive artistry. He sings in English, French and Wolof, the language of his homeland in Senegal.
The performace starts at 7.30pm, tickets are £12. To book call 01326 259349 or email boxoffice@falmouth.ac.uk
