FOR a truly thrilling assault on your senses, make sure you see The Rite of Spring & Petrushka by Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre this April.
The two halves of Michael Keegan-Dolan’s exhilarating dance theatre double bill are a contrast in light and dark that mirrors the Stravinsky music of the same name.
The imagery in The Rite of Spring is dark, shocking, violent and sexual. By contrast Petrushka is bright and light with elements of folk dance.
Fabulous Beast creates productions which have their roots in Ireland and Irish |experience, but which deal with universal and often controversial issues in modern society.
The Rite of Spring and Petrushka will be at Hall for Cornwall on April 25 and 26 .
The performances starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £13.50 to £20. Tickets for anyone under the age of 26 are £11. Call the Box Office on 01872 262 466 or book online at www.hallforcornwall.co.uk
