St Austell Players are preparing to bring the award-winning French drama Between Worlds by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt to the stage this March but need help finding the most vital prop: a crystal ball.

The play is about the space between life and death and follows a series of characters as they check in and out of an "hotel" between these two worlds. One of these is the Magus - a fortune teller of the lowest variety, who has conned many a poor soul out of their well earned cash through the dubious art of crystal ball gazing. But, so far, St Austell Players have drawn a blank in their search and are appealing to anyone who may be able to provide this much needed prop.

Andrew Craze who plays the Magus says "It's a wonderful role with a dazzling costume. To be able to mesmerise the rest of the cast and audience with a crystal ball would complete the effect."
