Shakespeare 4 Kidz - the award-winning British theatre company which specialises in exciting, fun-filled musical adaptations of classic Shakespeare stories - arrives at Hall for Cornwall in March with its acclaimed adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Set in Athens against the background of a royal wedding Shakespeare 4 Kidz' production tells three interweaving stories - four young friends are involved in a dispute concerning an arranged marriage; six working men are rehearsing a play to be performed at the royal wedding feast; while the King and Queen of Fairyland's constant arguing has upset the balance of the mortal world.
The mischievous sprite Puck stirs all the ingredients to create a magical, midsummer mayhem in the woods. or is it just a dream?
This hugely successful easy-to-understand musical adaptation has played to hundreds of thousands of young people in the UK since its first production in 1997. It was a five star hit at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival and continues to receive rave reviews wherever it plays.

The production is perfect for those studying Shakespeare at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
Performances start at 10.30am and 1.30pm on Thursday, March 22. Tickets are £13 and £8 for under-16s from the Box Office on 01872 262466. There is a special group deal for schools with one teacher going free with every 10 children's tickets. There is a 75p Theatre Fund payment on each ticket sold.
