RECENTLY a road that leads to Flushing and Mylor Harbour has been resurfaced with some type of tarmac and stones.
Shortly after the work was finished a street sweeper, the same ones that are scooping up loose tarmac with their wire brushes and creating even deeper potholes, was seen brushing up stones on the new road, at the same time making ugly dark lines for the whole length of the road.
This just seems typical of the inferior work that's going on - dodgy tarmac, road works, expensive portable traffic lights confusing and holding traffic up, gas workers smoking as they dig up the roads, South West Water digging up the same holes over and over again.
So, who is keeping an eye on these companies taking liberties with taxpayers’ money?
