HAS anyone walked from the main street in Redruth through any of the alleyways, either the right or left hand side of the street? There is graffiti, gum, rubbish and filth, not in just one - they are all the same! What an advert for the town!
What's the point in "tarting up" the car park, getting new roofs on some listed buildings (mind you, I never see anybody working on them) and spending a fortune on foreign granite in the main street when they can't get the basics right? Perhaps a scheme for alleyways? Perhaps one of the town handymen could clean them up?
Do any of the councillors actually walk through them? Do they talk to any of the shopkeepers? Those that are left that is!
