I WOULD like to thank the gardening guerrillas who planted blue Alpine Irises along the verge of North Parade, Tehidy Terrace and Stratton Terrace, brightening up my walks between these January gales and contrasting the fully grown burdocks, thistles and nettles that greet the visitors at the height of the season so that councillors can receive their expenses and the officers their upgraded salaries.
