I HAVE, like others, started researching my family tree and, on one side, have been greatly helped by an unusual French surname and some very helpful people in Falmouth.
Does anyone have any information concerning my great, great grandfather, Captain Isaac Newton Saulez RN, who was born in Farnham, Surrey (1816) and died in Falmouth (1876).
During a brief visit to Falmouth in October, we discovered the ships on which he served and his grave, but we would be grateful if there was any photographic material. During his retirement he was one of the sub-commissioners of pilotage and chairman of the Conservative Association.
