THOSE of us who live in the same area as the travellers have no wish to impinge upon their lifestyle. However, their way of life has considerable consequences for us.
We have been woken on several occasions by their music in the early hours of the morning.
There is a considerable amount of rubbish in the area, and we have seen rats close to our homes and no-one has been able to us what the arrangements are for disposal of their sewage.
Penryn town council, Carrick council and Cornwall county council each try to pass the buck and seem unwilling to do anything about the situation. I doubt that these people pay taxes as we do towards these organisations.
