I would like to thank you on behalf of the residents and myself for the report in the Packet which accurately described the feelings of us all regarding the appalling development proposed for Melvill Crescent. It is important that people are made aware of the very real possibility that should a proposal such as this be allowed to go ahead we could be opening the floodgates to every unscrupulous developer who has no regard for our beautiful town only in making easy money.

We must praise our local councillors for their vigilance and the professional manner in which they do a very important job. Those of us who attended the planning meeting were all most impressed by the proceedings.
