I AM writing to ask dog owners to please clear up when their dog defecates on the pavements of Mongleath Road.
The pavements on this road as well as many others in Falmouth are a disgrace. The risk to health from dog excreta is well documented.
Mongleath Road is regularly used by a walking bus, families and children walking to and from the many local schools in the area and local residents.
Parents are encouraged to walk children to school and if we had mess free pavements this would no doubt make walking a far more pleasurable and less risky exercise.
Whoever these dog owners are, please clean up after your dogs and stop spoiling our local area.
