Peter Markey

Dearest Beryl & Family,

I am writing on behalf of your cousin in Canada, Glen Roberts. Glen is my father-in-law and has been looking for you since your address changed. He extends his condolences on the death of Peter. (I just found the notice on the internet while searching for an address for you). He described Peter as a very intelligent and kind man and has shown me photos of Peter's wooden inventions. I have been working on Glen's family tree and he has shared the photos of your mother Annie Pierce and father Eddie along with your stepmother/aunt Meghan.

Glen is now 87 + years old and in reasonably good health. He too has suffered a loss with the passing of his beloved wife, Robin this past April of 2016. It has been very hard on him to go on alone. His mind is as sharp as a tack and he continues to entertain with his singing and guitar playing. He also gives violin lessons to anyone who has and interest; young and old. He enlightens me with stories of his relatives in Wales as I continue to plot the family tree.

My husband Pierce and myself (Connie) express our deepest sympathy on your loss of a husband/father. I hope, along with your children you will continue to correspond with us here in Canada.
