RICHARDSON Ivor (Raffie) On 8th August 2023, peacefully at home, Ivor (Raffie), aged 90 years of Falmouth. A singer, and great supporter of Cornish choirs. Beloved husband of Chrystal, much loved dad of Colin, Ian, David, Kirk, Tim and Christian and a dear Paps and Papa. Funeral service in King Charles the Martyr Church, Falmouth on Monday 21st August at 2pm followed by interment in Falmouth Cemetery. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu, if desired, for Cancer Research UK may be given by retiring collection or c/o Kingsley Tresidder Funeral Service, Mill Stream Funeral Home, Mill Yard, Ponsanooth, TR3 7EF, 01872 863607.

On Monday 21st August The Glee Singers attended the funeral of our Musical Director and dear friend Ivor (Raffy) Richardson at the Church of King Charles the Martyr in Falmouth. What a send off he had!
As well as The Glee Singers, Nankersey Choir of which Raffy was a member, turned out in force. A lot of choir members past and present of choirs from all over Cornwall attended, so you can imagine the sound ringing through the Church for the communal hymns.
The Glee Singers joined Nankersey Choir in singing The Lords Prayer and Jesus Shall Reign. Conducted by Elaine Tangye and accompanied by Mike Uren.
The Glee Singers sang " In the Sweet By and By and A Celtic Benediction"
The wake was held at Falmouth Football Club where more singing of some of Raffys favourite songs was led by The Glee Singers. A great send off indeed! but no more than Ivor deserved.
