COLE Leonard Richard Change of Funeral Arrangements. Due to the following circumstances the funeral of Leonard Richard Cole will now be held at Penmount Crematorium at 3pm on Friday 15th September. ALL are welcome, smart attire with a splash of colour and Scout regalia would be wonderful. The Emmanuel Baptist Church of which Leonard had attended as a Member and Scout Leader since 1954 have refused to allow or conduct Leonard's funeral because Leonard is a Freemason, a member of The Coleville Smith Lodge. We as a family are devastated that Leonard cannot have the funeral that he had planned with the support of current church members in these past months. He was a devout and dedicated Christian who was a force for good in the Church and wider Community. He has been denied his last wishes by The Emmanuel Baptist.
