BAILEY Captain Richard (Bill) On 27th September 2023, at home, holding the hand of his wife, Captain Richard (Bill), aged 93 years of Falmouth. Beloved husband of Dianne, and much loved dad of Angus. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service in Trelawny Chapel, Penmount Crematorium on Tuesday 24th October at 1pm. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu, if desired, for the RSPCA may be given by retiring collection or c/o Kingsley Tresidder Funeral Service, Mill Stream Funeral Home, Mill Yard, Ponsanooth, TR3 7EF, 01872 863607.

Our very sincere sympathies to both you and Angus, Dianne. It’s long ago and far away since we last were in contact but both Rex and I both remember Bill with fondness. Ever the gentleman with a dry sense of humour. Take care.

Heartfelt sympathies to Diane and Angus. My husband John worked with Captain Bailey at the Harbour Office and Diane worked with me at Falmouth Bookshop, so over the years we've become friends. Bill was the essence of a "gentleman" kind, caring and with a wry sense of humour, and warm smile. RIP Bill, no more pain.
