WINTER. – On 21st February 2012, peacefully at Treliske Hospital, John Charles Winter, aged 88 years, organist emeritus of Truro Cathedral. Loving husband of Angela, much loved dad of Nicholas (deceased) and stepdad of Rachel. A service of thanksgiving for John's life will take place at St Gluvias Parish Church, Penryn on Thursday 8th March at 2pm, followed by interment at Budock Churchyard. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu, if desired, to be shared between the St Gluvias Church Choir Fund and Cornwall Animal Hospital and may be given by retiring collection or c/o The Funeral Director, Kingsley Tresidder, Trelendor, 1 Victoria Place, Ponsanooth.
