GRIFFITHS. – Alan Owen. Peacefully at home on Tuesday 8th May 2012, aged 83. Retired shift boss of South Crofty Tin Mine (1968-1986). Loving husband of Evelyn. Devoted father to Christine, Tim, Sandie, Sue and Sonny. Also loving grandad and great grandad, who will be loved and missed by us all. Funeral to take place at Redruth Baptist Church on Friday 18th May at 11.30am, followed by committal at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne. Family flowers only, but donations, if so desired, to the Dementia Research Centre, c/o W.J. Angove & Son, (01326) 312576.
