This year’s winners of the Packet’s Win Your Wedding competition are encouraging all brides-to-be and their grooms to enter the 2013 contest for the chance to secure their dream day.
Rachael Nimmo and Adam Growcutt from Falmouth were the 2012 winners, who walked off with their perfect wedding.
They are now putting the final preparations in place for their big day, which will take place in June 2013.
Bride-to-be Rachael, who works at Raze the Roof in Penryn, said: “Winning the wedding has been a massively exciting occasion for us. Not only have we not got to worry about the wedding financially, but we get to have the wedding of our dreams.
“We are now finalising the last couple of things and cannot wait for the big day. We are so excited to be getting married and to having the perfect day thanks to the Packet newspaper and everyone that voted for us.”
It has been a year of celebrations for the couple, who celebrated the birth of their daughter Lola Louise back in May.
Rachael added: “Getting married in June means that we get to spend the day with our little girl who will just be one. This means not only is it a memory for us, but for her too.”
At the time of winning Adam, who owns a valeting company, described the couple as “chuffed” and the win “unbelievable,” adding: “It’s a massive surprise; we are just really grateful to everyone that voted and to the Packet for putting on the competition.”
