Snow White and her Seven Dwarfs will be appearing at Mawnan Memorial Hall next week for five popular pantomime performances.

Put on by Mawnan Panto Group, the shows run daily from Wednesday, January 30 to Saturday, February 2 at 7.15pm.

A Saturday matinee will be held on the final day of performance at 2.15pm.

Director Maureen Bate said: “The first performance on Wednesday is a one off Gala Night where the audience is encouraged to bring wine and nibbles and tables will be provided.

“As the evening progresses and the audience warm to the occasion a great atmosphere is created.”

Tickets are available from Mawnan Spar shop, Cornish Maid and Parker Berry Estate Agents priced at £5.50 for evenings and £4.50 for the matinee. Ticket numbers for the Gala Night are restricted, so early booking is advised.

Maureen, who has returned to the group following a 15 year hiatus with the Truro Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, said: “This is a return to the traditional pantomime with all the favourite ingredients.

“As usual the village has pulled together with 100 per cent effort from cast and back stage crew, which includes scenery, costume, lighting, props and make-up.”
