Members of Helston and St Keverne Young Farmers’ Club got the gist of whist at their Thursday meeting last week.
They met at Helston Rugby Club, along with the advisory committee and family members, for an evening of cards.
Money raised on the night will be split between club funds and the two charities the club has chosen to support: the Farm Crisis Network and Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
Tomorrow, Thursday, members will be heading to Raze the Roof in Penryn for an evening of fun. They will meet at Helston Rugby Club at 7pm before heading there together.
This Saturday a competitions evening is being held at Trethorne, where members will be taking part in events such as bowling, pool, speaking competitions and various other events that will be followed by a disco.
