Olympic Games Makers and Torchbearers from Cornwall have been formally recognised during a special event in Truro.
Hosted by the chairman of Cornwall Council, Pat Harvey, the, "thank you reunion" on Friday at New County Hall in Truro was for all the people who helped to make the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games a success.
The event was organised in collaboration with the Cornwall Sports Partnership who coordinates the official Olympic legacy programmes in Cornwall.
The theme of the event was ‘Keep the flame burning’, with 120 people attended the event, including the Games Makers who volunteered at the events in London plus the Torchbearers who helped carry the flame across the county ahead of the Games.
