January’s family service was conducted by Chris Smith. The young people helped lead the prayers and enacted the story of the Good Shepherd.
Chris used the example of a hall of mirrors to illustrate how different people see different images of us, which might be distorted. God sees us as we really are. The Bible reading was from John chapter 1 and Chris spoke about John the Baptist recognising Jesus as the Son of God when the dove alighted on Him.
David Wingham was the pianist and Wendy Peek operated the computer and projector system.
Tea and coffee were served in the hall after the service.
