Parish communion celebrated education Sunday, with prayers and readings emphasising the importance of teaching and learning.
The Rev Dorothy Noakes presided at communion and preached, talking about the need to be inclusive of all levels of ability in education, since each and everyone has some gift which, when used properly, enriches the whole community. Canon David Miller and Betty Booker, lay reader, assisted at the service. John Eddy read the lesson, Roger Schiff led the prayers and the organist was Richard Berry.
There will be an all-age family communion on Sunday at 9.30am to celebrate the Feast of Candlemas.
