Mathematics was brought to life for pupils at Porthleven School through the medium of magic.
The subject is not always associated with fun, but Dave Hickory of Marvellous Magical Maths had the trick of making it just that.
As quick as you could say abracadabra, he had entranced the children with magical tricks that all had an educational message.
Examples included using soap solution to produce magical geometric bubbles.
Mr Hickory spent the entire day at the school carrying out workshop with different classes, with parents even invited to spend an hour at the end of the day learning what their children had learnt.
In a reversal of magician Paul Daniel's famous catchphrase, pupils did like it - a lot.
A spokesperson for the school said: “They were squealing with delight in the hall.”
