Ever fancied living in an old mining engine house? For one Helston man the answer is yes.
Craig Little, has big plans for Wheal Ann Engine House at Boderwennack, Trevenen Bal near Wendron.
He wants to cap the four mine shafts and make them safe, renovating what he calls the “fast decaying” engine house, which is a listed building.
The ultimate aim is to change its use into a residential home, set in two aces of land.
Mr Little has currently applied for pre-application advice, ahead of submitting an application for planning permission and listed building consent.
