A 70-year-old man from The Lizard has appeared in court after he was caught drink driving around the peninsular village.
Terence Roy Court, of South Parc, The Lizard, pleaded guilty to drink driving at Truro Magistrates’ Court last Monday.
The pensioner was found to have 150 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of urine when he was stopped on Beacon Terrace on September 23.
He was banned from driving for 12 months, to be reduced by a quarter is he successfully completes a drink driving rehabilitation course, fined £550 and ordered to pay £220 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
