It is more important than ever to cast your vote for your chosen couple in the Packet’s Win Your Wedding competition as next week, 20 of them will be cast out of the contest.
After one more week of voting, the 60 couples currently vying for the raft of prizes on offer will be whittled down to a shortlist of just 40, with the 20 with the least votes losing their places in the competition.
The names of the couple with the most votes, who will have their entire wedding day paid for, will be announced at the Falmouth Hotel’s wedding fair on April 7 so there are still more than four weeks left to pick up the phone and vote.
The prize will save the couple thousands of pounds. The wedding ceremony will be held at the Grade II Listed Falmouth Hotel, which is the main sponsor for the competition for the second year running.
The hotel, which commands views of Falmouth Bay and the beaches, will host the civil wedding ceremony and evening reception.
The competition is also being supported by a number of other local businesses who offer expert wedding services and have pledged their support in a bid to make it a day to remember for the lucky winning bride and groom-to-be.
From suits and dresses, flowers and cake to the cars and the all-important rings, there is someone waiting in the wings to take care of it all.
The prize package also includes the services of a professional photographer and hair and make-up stylist and someone to record the service on video. Chair covers, invitations and the evening entertainment will also be taken care of.
As if that wasn’t enough, there are prizes up for grabs before the big day itself as the hen and stag nights will also be organised on the couple’s behalf. So, with just one week left to ensure your favourite couple makes it through to the shortlist of 40, pick up the phone now.
