Last week’s announcement that entrants were to be whittled down to a shortlist of 40 prompted a last minute flurry of votes. If you have made it into the final running – congratulations.
This is not the time to rest, however. There is now just over a week to go until voting closes at midnight on March 24, so every last vote could now mean the difference between taking the top spot and coming second – and there can only be one winner of this amazing wedding package.
This includes the wedding ceremony at the Grade II Listed Falmouth Hotel, which is the main sponsor for the competition for the second year running. The hotel, which commands views of Falmouth Bay and the beaches, will also host the wedding breakfast and evening reception.
The competition is also being supported by a number of other local businesses who offer expert wedding services – from suits and dresses, flowers and cake to the cars and the all-important rings, there is someone waiting in the wings to take care of it all.
The prize package also includes the services of a professional photographer and hair and make-up stylist, and someone to record the service on video. Chair covers, invitations and the evening entertainment will also be taken care of. As if that wasn’t enough, there are prizes up for grabs before the big day itself as the hen and stag nights will also be organised on the couple’s behalf. The name of the winning couple, who will have their wedding paid for, will be announced at the Falmouth Hotel’s wedding fair on April 7 – and they must be there in order to claim it.
With so much at stake it is now down to the remaining couples to urge family and friends to pick up the phone and show their support to make their dreams come true.
