The air ambulance landed in Falmouth’s Old Hill area yesterday afternoon after a man was seriously injured after falling from a ladder.
The helicopter landed at The Beacon, after receiving a call shortly after 5pm.
An Air Ambulance spokesman said a man had fallen from a ladder in the area and could not feel his legs.
The Packet has been told the man fell off the ladder after trying to remove a seagulls nest, and being attacked the seagulls, however this is yet to be confirmed.
A land ambulance could also be seen parked outside a house nearby.
The man was transferred to the trauma unit at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth
