A service will be held this Saturday to remember the 18 people that lost their lives during the German bombing of Penryn 72 years ago.
The event, from 11am in the town’s Memorial Gardens, also commemorates the 23 homes, shops and the last paper mill that were destroyed in the World War Two raid on May 18, 1941.
