A new charity shop is due to open in Helston this Friday and is looking for volunteers.
The Children’s Hospice South West is coming to the town for the first time, opening in the former Cancer Funding for Cornwall charity shop in Coinagehall Street.
Managing the shop will be Carol Jane, who has worked in the town for the past two years and lives in Coverack.
She said the store had already received good support but was looking for as many volunteers as possible.
Volunteer application forms can be picked up from the shop or anyone interested in helping out can call Carol on 618775 for more information.
The charity shop will be selling high quality, secondhand goods, including bric-a-brac and clothes, as well as Children’s Hospice South West’s own range of goods.
