A small people carrier became embedded in a wall on Killigrew Street this morning after it suffered a suspected handbrake failure.
The blue Volkswagen Touran, registered to an address in Helston, went into a low wall outside a house at the junction of Clifton Place.
The police were called to the scene at about 10am.

No one was injured in the accident and it is unclear whether the driver was in the car when it hit the wall.
A specialist recovery vehicle had to be called because "the opinion given is if they removed the car the wall was going to collapse," a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said.
Traffic was moving freely on Killigrew Street throughout the incident.
