The Cornish contingent rowed from Oxford to Kingston to raise money for the charity that supports people with multiple sclerosis.
Frances Hosken, club reporter for Helston and St Keverne YFC, said: “This was a massive achievement for all who took part and a huge well done to Hannah and Beth from all at Helston.”
The rowing was followed by a weekend in Blackpool, attended by around ten members from Helston.
Last Thursday a quiz night was held at Helston Rugby Club for Helston and St Keverne’s weekly meeting.
Six teams competed, with chairman Eddy Savage and secretary Christina Jenkin setting the questions and running the quiz. Cubicle preparations are going well for this year’s Royal Cornwall Show in the first week of June, with members meeting weekly to decorate their cubicle for the annual YFC competition.
Tomorrow, Thursday, members will meet at Treworgie Farm at 7.30pm to continue their work.
