There were ten crimes reported in Porthleven during April – one less than in the same month last year.
They included two domestic assaults and an alleged theft carried out by an employee of a business, with cash apparently stolen from a safe.
In a separate case, a woman claimed that she was being threatened by a former employee. A window of a vehicle was smashed, while another car was scratched.
A man was given a warning for having cannabis on him, there was a ‘youth related’ assault and a house burglary took place, although the smashing of a window alerted the owners sleeping upstairs.
