The club is for lovers of foreign languages and provides a welcome to Falmouth for people new to the town.
Members joined forces with the Falmouth & District Footpath Preservation Society to organise a coach trip to Tintagel area on Saturday. Nearly 50 members of the two organisations made the trip giving many of them the opportunity to explore an area they were not familiar with. While some people undertook a longer coastal walk, others made the shorter trip to St Nectan's Glen. Despite the wind and cold weather, the outing was enjoyed by everyone and it is possible the two groups may organise similar joint trips in the future.
Café Polyglot meets at the Falmouth Watersports Centre every Thursday evening from 7.30pm.
