It’s been a great joy to have our friends Pam and Eddy from Uganda with us in the church family for the last couple of weeks.
Pam and Eddy work with street boys in Uganda, and we help to support them and pray for them. They have taken part in our church services, our seniors’ lunch and at Carleen, and have been a great blessing and inspiration. On Sunday morning, Eddy spoke, and everyone was encouraged. On Sunday evening we had a guest speaker, Dan Rubens from the new Elim Church in Penzance. He brought a fantastic message from Psalm 67.His colleague Richard, originally from Jersey told a little of his story and how he is now in Cornwall serving in Penzance.
Our weekly activities include house group on Tuesday, youth group for senior school age on Wednesday at 7pm (all welcome), toddler group on Thursday at 10am, and prayer meeting at 7.30pm, Rock Solid Kids Club for 5 to 11 years on Friday at 5.45pm.
On Sunday we welcome Phyl and Ruth Morgan from Wales to church. Phyl, a successful businessman and passionate Christian, will be preaching at 10.45am, and Pastor Glen in the evening.
