The new leader of Cornwall Council has been elected, at the helm of a cabinet made up of Independents, Liberal Democrats and other smaller parties.
John Pollard, the Independent councillor for Hayle North, was elected this morning.
His deputy will be Jeremy Rowe, the Liberal Democrat group leader at New County Hall.
Other cabinet members include Helston's Andy Wallis and Judith Haycock, Launceston's Alex Folkes and Adam Paynter, Looe's Edwina Hannaford, Newquay's Geoff Brown, Roseland's Julian German and Truro's Bert Biscoe.
