A 21-year-old Penryn man stopped by the police in Falmouth on April 10 was not causing any problem, but was under the influence of alcohol and therefore in breach of a drink banning order made by Truro magistrates in January.
At the court was Luca Seaman, of Truro Lane, who pleaded guilty to breaching the order, which was imposed for burglary.
He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence.
Paul Gallagher, his solicitor, said he had problems as a teenage drinker and was now waiting for rehabilitation.
“He was not causing problems when the police stopped him. He was simply walking up the street, but was in breach of the order,” he said.
Seaman was fined £30 and £10 victim surcharge.
