A ten-year-old horse rider from Ruan Minor has raised £300 for a toddler suffering a brain tumour.

Landewednack Primary School pupil Abby Jane was inspired by the story of young Riley Williams, who has recently returned home to Porthleven following months of gruelling treatment.

Keen to do her bit to help, Abby collected sponsorship money from family and friends to ride around Kynance and The Lizard on her horse called Abi.

Accompanied by her dad Steve during the ride, Abby then invited Riley and his family to meet Abi the horse when presenting them with the donation.
